Redwing Turdus iliacus
Myvatn, Iceland
#9593

Redwing is one of the commonest passerines in Iceland, and is a great place to see breeding birds. Whereas in this country they're pretty shy, I found that they were a lot easier to photograph in Iceland - this is simply a grab shot taken during a stop by the side of the road that lasted no more than about three minutes.
