After dipping the Little Bunting on St Martin's I was out of ideas, until I saw a couple of Rock Pipits feeding in the seaweed on the beach. Despite the best efforts of a few people to walk right towards where the birds were feeding, presumably not noticing my prostrate form in the sand, I finally managed a nice series of images as the birds fed no more than fifteen feet away. My gear got covered in sand but it was worth it.
