Jackdaw Corvus monedula
Wanstead Flats, London
#0354

Over the last few years the population of Jackdaws on Wanstead Flats has soared. Once uncommon, there are now flocks of up to a hundred on the playing fields. I love the sound of their calls, and always look up for them.
