I was sitting having a cup of tea in Wanstead Park after a hard morning's birding, when I noticed a distant Mute Swan swimming purposefully and agressively towards a pair of Greylag Geese. Knowing what was probably going to happen I put down my cuppa and noted to my friend that some Greylag action photography was likely on the cards. I opted to go handheld as it was going to be fast and furious - the swan came straight in and indeed it was! The geese scarpered, and I snapped off only a few frames before it was all over. Checking the back of the camera I saw this image and was delighted - what were the chances?!
