Snow Bunting Plectrophenax nivalis
Rainham, Essex
#2623

This winter-plumaged Snow Bunting spent several days on the sea wall at Rainham. It was exceptionally tame, no doubt simply not knowing what people were. In the late afternoon light it made a wonderful subject.
